ANATOMY OF OUR BREATH

In this episode you will learn about the different muscles involved in our breathing, which muscles we use for our inhalation and exhalation. We will also explore what the meaning of Pranayama is and how the yogis used the breath to alter their state of mind and being.

We will close this module with a basic breathing exercise called Full Yogic Breath, which will set the tone for the rest of our breathing exercises.

BEST TIME TO PRACTICE: Can be practiced any time of the day but ideally not straight after a meal.
